Job summary

Yahoo Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with business stakeholders on core planning, forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close. You will translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for non-finance audiences and own variance analysis.

You will lead annual budgeting, build robust financial models, and drive insights for leadership. The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and AI-assisted analytics in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field.
3–6 years of FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or public accounting experience.
Advanced Excel skills with complex modeling, large data sets, sensitivity and scenario analysis.
Experience with an ERP and planning tool (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment).
Experience or focus on AI-augmented productivity tools to optimize financial data analysis, modeling, or reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly and quarterly forecasting process for OpEx, CapEx, and headcount modeling.
Lead the annual budget cycle with bottoms-up plans and top-down targets.
Deliver month-end variance analysis with drivers and risks/opportunities for leadership.
Build and maintain financial models for business cases, scenario planning, and decisions.
Partner with Accounting on close activities including accruals, reclasses, and reconciliations.
Develop recurring management reporting and dashboards; improve automation and cycle time.
