Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. in the United States seeks an Analyst III to lead the development of the 5-year business plan, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.

You will provide managerial oversight and perform complex analyses to support financial targets and strategic decisions. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, forecasting, cost control, and performance metrics under GAAP and IFRS, while collaborating with partners to improve capital and O&M efficiency.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance, pursuing designation preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities and communication skills.
• Experience with GAAP and IFRS reporting and budgeting.
• Proficient with Excel and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of 5-year Business Plans and annual budgets.
• Coordinate quarterly forecasts and performance reports.
• Provide managerial oversight for financial analyses and decisions.
• Support capital and O&M expenditure planning with business partners.
• Develop complex business cases and rate-case design reviews.
