Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., parent company of Liberty, is seeking an Analyst II to develop the 5-year business plan, annual budget, and forecasts. You will oversee financial targets and support decisions from a financial perspective while coordinating with teams under GAAP and IFRS.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement (#LI-Hybrid) and involves partnering with management to drive operational and financial performance across utilities and water solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance; professional designation is strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years of financial work experience.
• Strong analytical capabilities and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience presenting and interpreting financial performance information to management.
• Experience in a large global organization under GAAP and IFRS.

Responsabilités

• Develop the 5-year business plan, annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Provide managerial oversight and analysis to deliver financial targets.
• Coordinate budgeting under GAAP and IFRS methodologies.
• Create financial allocations and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Support business partners with financial performance insights.
