Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN), parent company of Liberty, is seeking an Analyst III to develop the 5-year business plan, annual budget, and forecasts. You will deliver complex financial analysis and support decisions from a financial perspective within a global organization.

The role requires a BS in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. Hybrid work is available, with a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance; professional designation pursued preferred.
• 4+ years work experience; strong analytical capabilities and communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting tools.
• Experience in GAAP and IFRS environments; ability to translate policies into reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and consolidate 5-year business plans under GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cost control and performance metrics.
• Ensure financial functions align with corporate plans and controls.
• Develop financial recommendations for business partners to improve performance.
• Create complex business cases for strategic initiatives.
