Job summary
Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Field Service professional to manage customer contracts, deliver preventative maintenance reports, and provide on-site remedial support across the West US region, including Colorado. Responsibilities include upgrading systems, testing FAT, and coordinating with factory on product issues.
Travel will total about 50-60% in the West region, with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or Process Control (desirable).
- 5+ years of experience with DCS such as Foxboro IA, PLCs and Triconex systems.
- Ability to install hardware/software, configure and troubleshoot hardware/software.
- Familiar with Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Chemical industries.
- Knowledge of HMI software, DCS systems and field instrumentation.
- Knowledge of Foxboro and AVEVA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, Unix, networking and system security.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer contracts with preventative maintenance visits and reporting.
- Update customer systems to latest software, fixes, and hardware.
- Prepare and deliver upgrade plans for customer systems.
- Follow technical procedures for Global Service.
- Provide technical review of orders and proposals.
- Analyze technical risk of expansion projects and upgrades.
- Attend technical training on systems, processes and safety.
- Support Sales to secure orders and service agreements.
- Understand and enforce contractual obligations on major projects.
