Job summary

Phillips, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee on-site management of deep foundations construction projects.

You will coordinate with multiple contractors, ensure work aligns with design, schedule, and budget, and engage in high-level planning and client interaction. Responsibilities include supervising on-site teams, planning scheduling, coordinating engineering and material control, and ensuring safety and quality standards on large-scale foundation programs across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction management or craft supervision in deep foundations.
• Extensive knowledge of deep foundations and drilled shafts.
• Willingness to travel 100%.
• Experience coordinating material, labor and time across large projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the total construction effort to ensure conformance with design, budget and schedule; interface with client reps and other parties.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control) and direct onsite staff.
• Supervise craft employees and contractors as required by the contract.
• Approve personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, field design change requests, etc.
• Provide technical assistance: interpretation of drawings and construction methods.
• Develop and implement project procedures, working documents and standards.
• Ensure onsite safety and compliance; document violations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure productivity, efficient use of materials/equipment, and contractual performance.
• Drilling using multiple techniques (top can, polymer; casing).
• Perform additional assignments as directed.
