Job summary

Phillips Infrastructure is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee on-site management of deep foundations construction projects, coordinating with multiple contractors and ensuring the project adheres to schedule, budget, and design specifications.

The role involves supervising craft employees, planning onsite functions, ensuring safety compliance, and interfacing with client representatives. A four-year engineering degree and 10+ years in construction management are required.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of ten years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience in deep foundations.
• Extensive knowledge of deep foundations, drilled shafts for transmission lines, substations, and drilling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the total construction effort to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control).
• Supervise craft employees and other contractors as required by the contract.
• Authorize project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, and field design change requests.
• Provide technical assistance and interpretation of drawings for construction methods and equipment.
• Develop and implement project procedures, working documents, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, work rules, and corrective actions.
• Maintain productivity of crews and efficient use of materials/equipment.
• Drill using multiple techniques (top can, polymer, casing).
• Perform additional assignments as directed.
