Job summary

Veit is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator for Foundations in New Berlin, WI. You will finalize bids, secure projects, and lead contract work from start to finish, coordinating estimators, project managers, and operations to deliver on schedule and budget.

The role requires extensive experience in estimating large complex projects, excellent communication, and the ability to drive profitability while managing client relationships and compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 15+ years estimating/managing large complex projects in related scope.
• Strong written and oral communication with all management levels and external partners.
• Proven ability to read plans/specs, prepare full estimates, and manage bids and project changes.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and bid opportunities.
• Coordinate preparation of full estimates on large complex work.
• Provide overall direction to multiple projects and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Manage project costs, billing, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop relationships with current and potential clients.
