Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Agentic Identity Platform to provide technical leadership in client environments. You will read, review, and make design calls that depend on understanding system behavior rather than descriptions in a deck.

You may not write code day to day, but you will decisively influence architecture and delivery. We expect deep engineering experience, the ability to explain complex ideas to a CISO, and the judgment to decide when to build or buy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on work within the last 24 months counting development, prototyping, code review, or technical design review.
• Experience deploying and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Client-facing or consulting experience with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design for engagements and defend decisions.
• Review implementations critically and prototype when needed.
• Set the technical direction and review engineers' code.
• Reverse-engineer identity in client environments to inform design.
• Document build-versus-buy decisions for long-term sustainability.
