Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to work with federal government customers on data and AI challenges using the Databricks platform. You will own architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, data platforms or software engineering.
• Fluency in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP) with at least one in-depth.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Spark and its internals.
• CI/CD for production deployments; MLOps knowledge.
• Architecting end-to-end data architectures combining pipelines, ML/AI models, and interfaces.
• Experience delivering projects for enterprise clients and managing stakeholders.
