Job summary

Inriver is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer in the United States to lead high-stakes enterprise engagements. You will architect solutions, guide IT leadership, and design complex integrations across ERP/PLM systems, DAM, and downstream channels.

You will mentor other engineers, influence product direction, and address escalated production issues while maintaining a strong focus on scale and maintainability. A hybrid work setup is offered with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Experience owning complex technical engagements.
• Deep coding skills in modern languages.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs at scale.
• Ability to lead technical relationships with enterprise customers.
• Strong data modeling for enterprise catalogues.
• Mentoring or leading other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own technical architecture and delivery strategy for large engagements from discovery to go-live.
• Advise customer IT leaders on how Inriver fits into their systems.
• Design and build complex integrations with ERP/PLM, DAM, and channels.
• Model enterprise-scale product data structures for catalogue complexity.
• Lead rapid prototyping to de-risk onboarding and migrations for data-heavy customers.
• Write production-quality code and mentor other engineers.
• Shape product and platform roadmap through customer patterns.
• Own escalated production issues and debug with customer teams.
• Travel to customer sites 20–40% as needed.
