Job summary

Didero, Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Technical Deployment team.

You will work directly with enterprise customers to translate complex procurement and operations workflows into scalable, reliable systems. This hands-on role builds backend services, data pipelines, and ERP integrations (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft BC) and requires strong systems thinking, customer collaboration, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Strong experience building backend services with Python and Django.
• Experience designing integrations with external systems and data pipelines.
• Experience working with customers or cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, debugging, and systems architecture.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand their procurement, finance, ERP, and operational workflows.
• Question and clarify customer requirements, identifying the underlying business need rather than blindly implementing requests.
• Design and build integrations with ERP, procurement, finance, and operational systems.
• Build backend services, APIs, data pipelines, workflow automations, and customer-specific technical solutions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to identify repeatable patterns that should become part of the core platform.
• Debug complex integration issues across customer systems, third-party APIs, data models, and internal services.
• Support customer discovery, deployment planning, and technical implementation.
• Help define best practices for forward-deployed engineering, customer pipelines, and integration architecture.
