Job summary

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will solve the hardest problems for Ramp and its largest customers, delivering end-to-end solutions and customer-focused engineering in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

You will interact directly with customers, shape product decisions, and expand Ramp's capabilities by embedding deep domain expertise in core product areas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience preferred.
• Extensive experience building with and for agents.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale.
• Comfort and excitement to be customer-facing.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software end to end that meet the needs of our largest customers and build agents that autonomously implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Account Management to close deals, activate customers, and expand value.
• Drive the core product engineering roadmap through embedding model and develop deep domain expertise to decide when to build a custom solution vs. broader initiatives.
