Job summary

Statecraft is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to support government contracts in a fully remote role. You will prototype and deliver AI-driven automation, tailoring an inorganic workforce for government customers while operating with high ownership across several projects.

The position requires US citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance, plus 2+ years in software roles and strong TypeScript expertise. Competitive cash salary and equity offered.

Qualifications

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
2+ years of experience in software roles.
Deep expertise with TypeScript in professional settings.
Familiarity with Vue.js, Elysia, etc.
Experience with infrastructure: Postgres, Caddy, Tailscale, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Identify key workflows or opportunities for automation.
Prototype, iterate, and deliver AI solutions directly to customers.
Improve and expand the core product offering.
Own multiple lines of effort with high responsibility.
Tailor an inorganic workforce for government customers.
Collaborate with AI on a daily basis.
