Job summary

The Carlyle Group is seeking a senior engineering leader to embed with global wealth teams and own end-to-end AI driven delivery. You will design AI‑ready data foundations, orchestration, and semantic layers while partnering across a federated organization.

You will ship production AI products within Carlyle workflows, establishing reusable patterns and scalable architectures that drive automated, auditable outcomes at enterprise scale. In-office 4 days per week.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall relevant technical experience, required.
• Professional software engineering with deep full‑stack, microservices, and integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with AI coding agents and AI‑driven development.
• Experience architecting and shipping generative AI systems in production.
• Proficiency with AWS services and modern frontend/backend tech stacks.
• Familiarity with data governance, auditability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to understand needs and document processes.
• Architect AI‑ready data foundations, semantic layers, and retrieval patterns.
• Design pipelines, calculation logic, and governance for data processing.
• Implement AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, API Gateway, S3, RDS).
• Prototype and ship automated replacements for manual processes.
