1P284 THE CARLYLE GROUP EMPLOYEE CO., LLC is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to build Carlyle’s next‑generation AI platform and intelligent investment applications. This hands‑on role designs architectures, agent frameworks, and APIs and focuses on a production‑ready live deal evaluation platform combining LLMs, ML, retrieval, and enterprise data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer building production applications.
• Strong backend development experience with Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go.
• Experience building frontend applications with React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and distributed architectures.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and services.
• Experience translating AI-generated prototypes into production-grade software.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and modern frontend applications.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and distributed services.
• Design and implement production-ready LLM, retrieval, and ML workflows.
• Convert AI prototypes into production-ready software integrated with Carlyle's stack.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor code from AI tools to meet enterprise standards.
• Ensure production systems are scalable, secure, and performant.
• Apply software engineering best practices and modern development methodologies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and AI engineers to deliver capabilities.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering standards.
