Job summary

Nestlé S.A. is seeking a Warehouse III to safely operate forklifts and manage material handling in our Hazleton, PA area facility. The role supports shipping/receiving, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and keeping a well-organized warehouse.

You will mentor teammates, uphold safety standards, and contribute to KPI performance. Experience with warehouse operations is essential; a high school diploma and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid forklift operator certification
• Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas.
• Load and unload trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against relevant documentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and updating inventory management systems.
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring materials are properly labeled and accessible.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to coordinate daily activities and priorities.
• Provide updates and report issues to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Engage in Daily Shift meetings to review shift results versus goals.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned.
• Act as on-the-job trainer and deliver essential training to associates.
