Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is hiring a Warehouse Operator II in Franklin Park, IL. The role supports warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts and handling materials, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving, and maintaining organized storage. 1st shift, 5:00am–5:30pm.

Prior warehouse experience is preferred and a forklift certification is required. The position offers competitive hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for growth within a global company.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or Warehousing.
• Ability to obtain valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to follow safety procedures including Nestlé Life Saving Rules.
• Ability to speak/read/write in English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, etc.
• Ability to use basic digital devices (computers, iPad).
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs and all company policies.
• Work environment may include powders, chemicals, and allergens.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to move materials.
• Load and unload trucks with verification against documentation.
• Inspect forklifts and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory records with cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Organize warehouse storage areas with proper labeling.
• Coordinate daily activities with team to ensure efficiency.
• Provide updates and report issues to supervisor.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks as needed.
