Job summary

Misfits Market in Northlake, IL is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our fulfillment center. You will operate Stand-Up forklifts, move pallets, and contribute to safe, efficient warehouse operations in a refrigerated environment.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to work a rotating schedule. You will support inventory counts, order picking, and coordination with the warehouse team to fulfill customer orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass internal forklift operator certification.
• Quality Control background in Produce/Grocery.
• Experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift in a warehouse.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety protocols for forklift operation.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to transport grocery products throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Pick and stage products for shipment following procedures.
• Perform pre-operational checks and wear PPE as required.
• Report maintenance needs and coordinate with maintenance personnel.
• Communicate with supervisors to coordinate workflow and address issues.
