Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our Maryland fulfillment center. You will safely operate forklifts to move pallets, load/unload trucks, and stage products for shipment while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of forklift experience, a high school diploma, and a strong focus on OSHA safety standards. Expect a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass forklift operator certification.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience in warehouse.
• Understanding of safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds; stand/bend for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and equipment safely to transport products throughout the warehouse, including loading/unloading trucks, moving pallets, and stacking products.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts, ensuring accurate tracking of movements.
• Fulfill customer orders by picking and staging products for shipment per procedures.
• Follow safety protocols; conduct pre-operational checks and use PPE.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report issues to maintenance.
• Coordinate workflow with supervisors and team to address issues.
