Job summary

Misfits Market in Northlake, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator to move groceries within a fast-paced fulfillment center. You will operate forklifts, load/unload, and support inventory control while following safety rules.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and at least 1 year of warehouse experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, a 401(k), and a $1200 annual grocery box credit, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass forklift operator certification.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety protocols.
• Basic computer skills with WMS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and materials handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse, including loading/unloading trucks and stacking pallets.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts, ensuring accurate tracking of product movements.
• Pick and stage products for shipment following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform pre-operational checks and wear PPE; report any safety hazards or incidents to management.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and address forklift operation issues.
