Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.

Under supervision, you will load/unload freight, stock merchandise, check for accuracy and damage, and help with inventory. This role requires the ability to work in cold environments, lift up to 80 lbs, and maintain safety as per OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, and check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate equipment per OSHA standards to promote safety in a cold environment.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
