Job summary

Empire Livestock LLC is seeking a Warehouse Worker to perform various warehouse and inventory tasks in a refrigerated environment. You will receive, move, store, and distribute items, unload and load trucks, and maintain accurate records using scanning and paperwork.

You will work from clear processes, support periodic counts, and help keep coolers organized and safe. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and basic math; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the team.
• Able to perform accurate basic math computations and inventory counts.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing (including legible writing).
• Able to follow directions and work with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items as assigned; sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization and rotation of stock in coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute to production workers.
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks/trailers.
• Check information for accurate shipment, and inspect product conditions prior to loading.
