Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an experienced forensics and litigation consultant to lead complex engagements from planning through delivery across multiple states. You will manage investigations, coordinate multidisciplinary resources, and communicate findings to clients and counsel.

The role requires 7+ years in forensics, a strong accounting background, and proven ability to develop client relationships and support growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in forensics & litigation consulting services.
• Experience leading large-scale fraud, internal, financial reporting, or accounting investigations, including matters involving the SEC or other governmental and regulatory bodies.
• Experience supporting post-closing disputes, M&A litigation, and related accounting analyses.
• Demonstrated experience developing client relationships and contributing to growth of a forensics and litigation practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex forensic accounting and litigation engagements from planning through delivery.
• Direct large-scale internal company investigations involving potential fraud and misconduct.
• Manage regulatory matters with counsel, leadership, and audit committees.
• Lead financial reporting investigations including misstatements and restatements.
• Support expert witnesses and counsel through discovery and trial preparation.
• Mentor team members and contribute to proposals and business development.
