Job summary

Forvis Mazars US in Florida seeks a seasoned Forensics & Litigation Services leader to manage complex investigations, define scope, budgets, and timelines, and deliver defensible findings to clients and counsel.

You will direct large-scale internal investigations, coordinate with regulators, advise on post‑closing disputes and M&A-related litigation, and mentor team members while expanding client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in forensics & litigation consulting services.
• Experience leading large-scale fraud, internal, financial reporting, or accounting investigations, including matters involving the SEC or other governmental/regulatory bodies.
• Experience supporting post‑closing disputes, M&A litigation, and complex commercial litigation, including damages analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex forensic accounting and litigation engagements from planning through delivery, including defining scope, workplans, budgets, and timelines.
• Direct large-scale internal investigations involving potential fraud and other financial misconduct.
• Manage regulatory matters and coordinate with counsel, leadership, and committees to respond to inquiries.
• Lead financial reporting investigations, including misstatements and internal control deficiencies.
• Advise on post-closing disputes, earnouts, and damages analyses; support expert testimony when needed.
• Provide complex litigation support and develop damages models for mediation or trial.
• Mentor team members and expand client relationships with law firms and corporate counsel.
