Job summary

Forvis Mazars US seeks an experienced leader in Forensics & Litigation Services to direct complex engagements, investigations, and regulatory matters. You will work with legal, corporate leadership, and regulators to deliver defensible financial insights and support disputes, M&A, and expert testimony.

You will mentor teams, develop client relationships, and contribute to growth across markets while maintaining rigorous quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in forensics & litigation consulting services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience leading large-scale fraud, internal, financial reporting, or accounting investigations involving the SEC or other regulators.
• Experience supporting post-closing disputes, M&A litigation, and complex commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated ability developing client relationships and growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex forensic accounting and litigation engagements from planning through delivery, including scope, workplans, budgets, timelines, and client communications.
• Direct large-scale internal investigations involving potential fraud, whistleblower complaints, and other misconduct.
• Manage regulatory matters, coordinating with legal counsel, leadership, and audit committees to respond to inquiries.
• Lead financial reporting investigations including misstatements, restatements, earnings management, revenue recognition, and internal controls.
• Advise on post-closing disputes and accounting for earnouts, purchase price adjustments, and damages analyses.
• Provide complex litigation support by analyzing records, developing damages models, and preparing expert analyses for mediation, arbitration, or trial.
