The team collaborates across disciplines to support litigation, risk assessment, and standards compliance. The role involves managing multi-consultant projects, conducting detailed analyses, and delivering clear technical reports and presentations to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Five to ten years work in a forensic or safety consulting position.
• Experience working in product testing or design evaluations, forensic engineering, teaching, and/or human factors or risk assessment methodology.
• Authoring of high-quality technical reports and/or peer-reviewed publications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects with multiple consultants; prioritize tasks, schedules, and deadlines, and communicate with clients and colleagues.
• Manage client projects, delegating tasks to consultants and support staff.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients on a timely basis.
• Prepare project plans with timelines, budgets, staffing, and resources allocation.
• Provide technical advice and resolve project issues with team members.
• Prepare exhibits with visualization group to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Evaluate root causes in equipment, consumer products, and human factors contexts.
• Review media to develop preliminary conclusions and plan further investigation.
• Conduct inspections of accident scenes and involved machinery or products as needed.
• Apply safety standards, literature, data, and regulations to projects.
• Design tests or models to evaluate product performance or human factors.
• Perform risk assessments or job safety analyses as part of the team.
• Assist Business Development in identifying potential clients and strategies.
