Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC seeks a Senior Forensic Engineer to expand our testifying expert team for civil cases, including construction defect litigation matters. This role will lead and mentor a team of consultants within the Forensic practice and provide expert support while testifying.

The position requires PE licensure, deposition/testimony experience, and a demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and drive project success across the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering with PE license; 7+ years leadership.
• Deposition and testimony experience required.
• Proven track record in client relationship management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and strategic planning for the practice.
• Support MD in revenue, utilization and profitability goals.
• Develop new accounts and expand existing engagements.
• Delegate tasks and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor utilization and accounts receivable and manage budgets.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.
