The Vertex Companies LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to lead investigations into mechanical systems, document findings, and support dispute resolution for residential and commercial properties. You will perform field inspections, prepare expert reports, and coordinate with clients and management to drive timely, quality outcomes.

Role requires PE licensure and a track record of managing projects, with travel to support client needs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 12 years of related experience, or Master's with 8 years and at least 5 years in management.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), with multiple states preferred.
• Proven ability to produce independent work product and coordinate with clients and supervisors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

Aufgaben

• Conduct forensic field inspections to determine cause and origin of incidents in residential and commercial properties.
• Research failures in mechanical systems to identify causes, with HVAC expertise a plus.
• Develop remediation plans including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Author detailed expert investigative reports for senior management and clients.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering on-time and on-budget work.
• Coordinate with team members and review work product for quality and accuracy.
• Monitor performance data such as utilization, deadlines, and timesheet accuracy.
