Job summary

Aon is seeking a Senior Claim Preparation Leader with deep knowledge of construction and related claims to support property & risk consulting in a virtual US-based role.

You will lead a team of consultants, develop relationships with producers and brokers, and guide service delivery for property damage, business interruption, and first-party claims. Strong accounting, shipping, and insurance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant experience.
• Mathematics and Accounting Principles - Using mathematics and advanced accounting principles to solve problems.
• Ability to be proactive and to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
• Interpersonal & teamwork - building relationships with peers, supervisors, clients and adjusters.
• Technical Insurance Knowledge - strong knowledge of insurance principles; construction/infrastructure claims.
• Deductive Reasoning - apply general rules to specific problems.
• Mathematical Reasoning - select appropriate methods or formulas.
• Oral Expression - communicate clearly in speaking.
• Written Expression - communicate clearly in writing.
• Delegation - juggle client demands with management responsibilities.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Travel - approximately 30% domestic and potentially international travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop a following with producers, account executives and brokers to build a book of business.
• Actively communicate value-added services to clients and prospects.
• Execute service/projects/contract obligations efficiently and timely with documentation.
• Oversee and manage multiple consultants including coaching and performance reviews.
• Communicate workload status to team members.
• Time and expense tracking for client billing and internal usage; monitor direct reports.
• Interact with office leadership and present team capabilities and success stories.
