Job summary

Engineering Design & Testing Corporation (EDT) seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer PE for hands-on investigations of residential, commercial, and industrial structures, including building envelopes and foundations. The role requires PE licensure, strong coding knowledge, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a hybrid schedule.

You will manage cases, coordinate with clients, prepare cost estimates, and testify when needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer with clear understanding of building codes.
• 7+ years in civil/structural engineering.
• Experience with storm damage or forensic engineering preferred.
• Willingness to travel and perform field work.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and evaluations of structures and envelopes.
• Prepare repair/reconstruction cost estimates and reports.
• Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.
• Testify as an expert witness when required.
