Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Auditor to support medical claims data analysis, forensic investigations, and damages calculations for investigations and settlements. The role involves developing models, testifying as needed, and communicating findings to attorneys and investigators.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in forensic financial accounting or related fields, with strong knowledge of evidence rules and civil procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic financial accounting, litigation consulting, and/or health care fraud analysis.
• Must understand rules of evidence and civil procedures, admissibility of evidence, and other policies to support investigations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex personal and business financial records to identify payments, kickbacks, tracing money flows, assets and damages.
• Develop and apply ability-to-pay analyses and settlements; evaluate debt covenants, earnings, and cash flow indicators.
• Identify related party transactions and quantify financial implications for litigation.
• Analyze healthcare claims and other data for evidentiary value.
• Create financial damage models for use in litigation and report findings to counsel.
• Conduct asset valuation and records reconstruction; develop presentation models for court.
• Prepare expert reports for litigation and participate in negotiations and testimony.
• Review defense materials and testify as required.
• Present data analysis results to attorneys and investigators.
