Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Auditor to support district legal staff with medical claims data analysis, forensic investigations, and financial damages. The role involves statistical sampling, ability-to-pay analyses, and preparation of expert reports for litigation in large, complex matters.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in forensic accounting, experience with evidence rules, and CPA or CFE credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic financial accounting, litigation consulting, and/or health care fraud analysis.
• Clear understanding of the rules of evidence and civil procedures, admissibility of evidence, and elements of violations under investigations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex personal and business financial records to identify payments, kickbacks, money flows, assets and damages.
• Analyze ability-to-pay settlements, debt covenants, earnings, ratios, aging schedules, tax considerations, and payment terms.
• Prepare expert reports for litigation and testify as required.
• Communicate findings to attorneys and investigators and assist in negotiations as requested.
