Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Auditor to support district legal staff by analyzing medical claims data, conducting forensic investigations, and performing financial damages assessments. The role involves statistical sampling, ability-to-pay analyses, and creating models for litigation purposes in a government-focused setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in forensic financial accounting and litigation consulting, with CPA or CFE preferences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic financial accounting, litigation consulting, and/or health care fraud analysis.
• Clear understanding of the rules of evidence and civil procedures relevant to investigations.
• Experience preparing expert reports; CPA and CFE preferred.
• Ability to explain findings to attorneys and investigators.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex personal and business financial records for payments, kickbacks, tracing money flows, assets and damages.
• Quantify damages and develop financial damage models for litigation.
• Prepare expert reports and testify as required.
• Communicate findings to attorneys and investigators.
• Develop computerized models to present financial evidence.
• Review defense presentations and expert reports.
