Overview
CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Auditor to assist district legal staff by conducting medical claims data analysis, forensic investigations, financial damages, statistical sampling, and ability-to-pay analyses. These activities support investigations, prosecutions, settlements, and recovery efforts that can be voluminous and complex.

Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Analyze complex personal and business financial records to identify payments and kickbacks, trace money flows, identify assets, determine sources and uses of cash, and quantify damages
- Analyze and calculate ability-to-pay settlements and judgments, including debt covenants, borrowing capacity, earnings, financial ratios, accounts receivable/payable, aging schedules, tax considerations, and assess collectability
- Identify, quantify, and understand related party transactions
- Analyze healthcare claims and other data
- Create financial damage models for use in litigation
- Conduct asset valuation and records reconstruction
- Develop computerized models to assist in presenting financial evidence
- Report on financial data and evidence and communicate findings to attorneys and investigators
- Review defense presentations and expert reports, participate in negotiations, and prepare expert reports for litigation
- Testify as required and participate in training and presentations on data analysis tools
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic financial accounting, litigation consulting, and/or health care fraud analysis
- Demonstrated understanding of the rules of evidence and civil procedures, admissibility of evidence, and elements of violations under investigation
Preferred
- Experience preparing expert reports and trial preparation
- CPA certification and Certified Fraud Examiner designation
