Job summary

Sorren is seeking a seasoned litigation support leader to join our growing forensic accounting and expert witness practice in Boise, Idaho. You will guide case strategy, manage complex engagements, and mentor a team of forensic accountants and litigation consultants.

You will deliver credible analyses, oversee discovery and data handling, and work with attorneys to secure favorable outcomes while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in litigation support or related work with 5+ years in leadership.
• CPA license with one or more forensic credentials: CFE, CFF, CVA, CBA, ASA, ABV, CDFA.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Expertise in forensic accounting, business valuation, and economic damages.
• Proven lead expert witness experience in court, deposition, or arbitration.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across all phases of litigation support and forensic engagements.
• Shape strategic direction of the forensic practice and position the firm as a leader in expert testimony.
• Develop and enforce best practices for engagement execution, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the firm in strategic client matters and complex litigation.
• Lead and review technical analyses including forensic reviews, valuations, and damages calculations.
• Deliver expert opinions and testimony in courtrooms, arbitrations, and depositions.
• Mentor and develop a growing team of forensic accountants and litigation consultants.
• Promote collaboration, ethics, and client service across teams.
• Design internal training to elevate expertise in forensic accounting and expert witness preparation.
• Support business development and cross-service opportunities with other advisory groups.
• Collaborate with leadership to align litigation support with firm strategy.
