Job summary

Sorren, Inc. seeks a senior leader in forensic accounting and litigation support to drive complex engagements from scoping to expert testimony.

You will guide strategic direction, ensure high-quality deliverables, and mentor a growing team of forensic accountants and litigation consultants. You will develop best practices, manage client expectations, and cultivate relationships with attorneys and referral sources to expand dispute advisory services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in litigation support, with 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• CPA license, plus credentials: CFE, CFF, CVA, CBA, ASA, ABV, CDFA
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Expert-level proficiency in forensic accounting, business valuation, and economic damages methodologies
• Extensive experience as lead expert witness delivering credible testimony
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex litigation and forensic investigations
• Strong written and verbal communication, capable of conveying findings clearly to legal teams
• Strategic client advisory skills and ability to grow practice revenue

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across all phases of litigation support and forensic engagements.
• Shape the strategic direction of the practice area and position the firm as a leader in forensic accounting and expert testimony.
• Develop and enforce best practices for engagement execution, documentation, and compliance.
• Represent the firm in strategic client matters and high-stakes litigation.
• Lead and review technical analyses, including forensic reviews, valuations, damages calculations, and financial modeling.
• Deliver expert opinions and testimony in courtrooms, arbitrations, and depositions.
• Serve as principal technical advisor to legal counsel and support discovery and motions.
• Ensure all work product is accurate and compliant with standards.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with attorneys and referral sources to grow originations.
• Provide ongoing financial advisory support on disputes and post-acquisition matters.
• Manage engagement scope, timelines, and client expectations with confidentiality.
• Mentor and develop a growing team of forensic accountants and consultants.
• Promote a collaborative, ethical, and client-focused team culture.
• Design internal training to elevate expertise in forensic accounting and expert witness prep.
• Support business development through thought leadership and industry events.
• Collaborate with leadership to align litigation support with broader firm strategy.
