Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Manager, US Forecasting, Oncology to lead advanced forecasting efforts and collaborate with Commercial, R&D, Finance, and other functions. The role reports to the Director of US Oncology Forecasting and is based on-site in Thousand Oaks with hybrid expectations.

You will develop models, drive what-if analyses, and influence cross-functional leadership on strategic decisions, while contributing to inline brand strategy and market insights for oncology indications.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharma/biotech forecasting or demand planning.
• Ability to influence ED/VP level staff.
• Experience with industry data sources and uptake analysis.
• Proficiency in advanced forecasting techniques and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed forecast models projecting units and revenue.
• Use Monte Carlo simulations to quantify uncertainty.
• Collaborate with regional brand leads and cross-functional teams.
• Develop forecasting frameworks for what-if scenarios.
• Interpret policy and pricing changes and quantify impact.
• Deliver transparent presentations to decision-makers.
