Job summary

CSL is seeking a senior forecasting leader to drive global Hematology planning. You will own long-range models, coordinate with commercial, R&D, and finance, and mentor a diverse forecasting team across regions. Your role will influence asset strategy and go/no-go decisions.

You will lead complex scenario modeling, stay ahead of industry trends, and embed AI into recurring forecasting workflows to improve efficiency and turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in decision sciences, finance, analytics, economics, analytics/statistics or related; post-graduate qualifications preferred.
• 8–10 years in pharma/biotech with 5+ years leading forecasting/analytics teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with ability to influence across functions and levels.
• Experience with multiple epi, sales and syndicated datasets (IQVIA, Evaluate Pharma, IQVIA, etc.).
• Experience embedding AI into recurring forecasting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of long-term forecasting models for global therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate with Hematology leaders, PST/GPLs in R&D, and finance to align forecasting with long-range planning.
• Coordinate with International and US teams on inputs for short-term forecast and budget planning.
• Present forecast scenarios and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee data analysis, market research, and external benchmarks for robust forecasts.
• Mentor and manage forecasters (including contractors) in a multi-site environment.
