Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Forecasting Solutions Analyst II in Houston, TX to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of energy load data. You will work with Pricing, Portfolio Management, IT, and Middle Office to ensure accurate forecasting and robust data quality, transforming legacy processes into automated, scalable solutions.

You will demonstrate strong SQL/Python skills, a data-driven mindset, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive performance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS/Engineering/Mathematics/Economics or related field, or five years of hands-on experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in data analysis, forecasting, or related field.
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency with large/time-series datasets.
• Experience with data quality governance and load data management.
• Experience in cloud-based data environments (Databricks) and scalable automation.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end lifecycle of energy load data: acquisition, validation, analysis, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Portfolio Management, IT, and Middle Office to ensure data quality and forecasting accuracy.
• Identify risks in customer load profiles and market dynamics; improve data completeness and reliability.
• Transform legacy processes into scalable, automated solutions; develop dashboards and automated data processes.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to scale solutions and drive continuous improvement.
