Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a highly analytical Data Scientist for the Hedging & Risk Management team supporting our renewable energy portfolio. You will apply advanced analytics, data science, and cloud-based platforms to transform markets, portfolio, and risk data into actionable insights that strengthen decision-making and financial performance.

You will design scalable tools, automate processes, and enhance risk exposure mapping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field with strong data science foundations.
• 7+ years in data science, analytics, or related roles with finance/risk exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Experience applying ML/optimization techniques to business problems.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable digital solutions to automate processes and improve risk decisions.
• Develop predictive models, optimization algorithms, and dashboards for risk exposures.
• Create BI dashboards and self-service analytics using Power BI/Tableau.
• Translate complex data and model outputs into actionable business insights.
