ENGIE North America seeks a skilled analyst to bridge the Terra forecasting platform with end users, accelerating adoption by clarifying outputs and building trust. You will translate model results into actionable insights and collaborate with trading desks, data scientists, and product teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, STEM, or a quantitatively oriented field of study.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electricity market analysis, trading support, analytics, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information quickly.
• Ability to translate complex quantitative outputs into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments with tight timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with electricity markets and trading concepts.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or similar tools.
• Experience with probabilistic thinking and understanding uncertainty.
• Collaborative mindset across technical and business teams.
• High attention to detail and ownership.
• Hybrid work policy; minimum 3 days in the office per week.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Interpret forecasts with trading teams on a daily basis to support decision-making in fast-moving markets.
• Act as the primary interface between end users and Terra/data science teams to communicate feedback and feature needs clear.
• Run and deliver ad hoc analyses to address trading questions, explaining forecast behavior and performance.
• Help users understand probabilistic forecasts, uncertainty, and scenario interpretation.
• Identify recurring user needs and help standardize analyses, workflows, and reporting.
• Partner with data scientists, product leads, and developers to develop explainability tools, dashboards, and AI co-pilots.
• Define feedback loops to improve forecast quality, trust, and adoption across desks.
