You will work with cross-functional teams to translate food science into predictive tools, prototypes, and validated concepts that drive product roadmaps.

The role emphasizes thermodynamics, heat transfer, thermal management, and experimental development to deliver high-value, scalable solutions for foodservice equipment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Food Engineering, Food Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Thermal Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in food systems engineering, or related innovation-focused environments.
• Experience applying rigorous scientific principles to problems involving food behavior and thermal response.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and apply analytical, numerical, and simulation models to evaluate concepts and guide design decisions.
• Analyze heat transfer, mass transfer, airflow, humidity, and thermal response in food-system interactions.
• Identify tech opportunities and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
• Lead hands-on concept development, CAD modeling, prototyping, instrumentation, and experimentation.
