Marmon Foodservice Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal Food Systems Engineer to advance the science of how food interacts with our equipment portfolio, including bins, toasters, and heated platforms.

This senior role emphasizes modeling, simulation, prototyping, and validation to mature technologies for future product roadmaps and customer value. Collaborating with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams, you will translate food science into actionable design criteria,

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Food Engineering, Food Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Thermal Sciences.
• 10-15+ years of experience in food systems engineering, food science, or related innovation-focused environments.
• Deep expertise in food systems, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and thermal management.
• Experience translating scientific insight into engineering concepts via modeling, prototyping, and DOE.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentoring.

Responsabilités

• Develop, validate, and apply analytical and simulation models to guide design decisions.
• Analyze heat transfer, mass transfer, airflow, humidity behavior, and thermal response in food-equipment interaction.
• Create CAD models and prototypes to support early-stage technology evaluation.
• Design experiments and DOE studies to resolve development questions.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute across multiple programs.
