Job summary

Butterball, LLC is seeking a Production & Manufacturing Operations supervisor at our Ozark, AR facility. You will guide day-to-day activities for a team of entry-level contributors and supervisors, ensuring safety, quality, and KPI targets are met through Lean practices.

You will enforce USDA/HACCP standards, drive continuous improvement, and manage labor, tools, and equipment to maximize efficiency. Experience in poultry/manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
• 2+ years of leadership experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
• Strong knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, SOPs and related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team of entry level individual contributors and/or supervisors.
• Ensures team understands and follows all safety policies and procedures; conducts routine safety and quality audits.
• Serves as a role model and ensures team compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines (USDA, OSHA, HACCP).
• Promotes process improvement and lean manufacturing; budget and cost improvement responsibilities.
• Monitors KPIs and identifies gaps in efficiency and quality; directs HACCP plans to meet USDA requirements.
