CGS Federal is seeking a Senior FOIA Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Dallas, TX. You will process FOIA requests, draft correspondence, and negotiate with requesters while ensuring compliance with exemptions and privacy requirements.

You will coordinate with FOIA staff and sponsors, maintain tracking databases, and prepare release determinations. The role emphasizes independence, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced government

Qualificações

• Three years of experience processing FOIA requests.
• Experience applying exemptions b(4), b(5), and b(6).
• Experience redacting records with trade secrets and confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, review, and analyze new and backlogged FOIA requests.
• Intake incoming requests and prepare FOIA request folders.
• Enter request data in the FOIA tracking database.
• Draft response letters and other FOIA correspondence.
• Communicate and initiate negotiations with requesters, FOIA staff, sponsors, and contractors.
• Coordinate searches for responsive documents and identify duplicates.
• Review program records for responsiveness and release determinations.
