Job summary

CBRE in Los Angeles is seeking an FM Engineering Operations Manager to lead engineering operations across a facilities portfolio. You will supervise staff, drive performance, manage budgets, and coordinate maintenance programs to ensure top-tier service for clients.

You will mentor teams, oversee hiring, and work with contractors while maintaining communications with tenants and vendors. This role emphasizes strategic influence and operational excellence in critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and measuring performance

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and supervise training and development
• Coordinate daily team activities, schedule tasks, and track deadlines
• Manage operations and maintenance for facilities and develop operating and capital budgets
• Recommend and implement preventive maintenance improvements and maintain safety manuals
• Be the point of contact for contractors and onsite technicians
• Oversee building systems (fire life safety, plumbing, HVAC, electrical) and stay current with tech trends
• Maintain communication with tenants, clients, owners, and vendors
• Support acquisition of new management contracts and assist with as-built drawings
• Respond to emergencies and customer concerns
• Uphold CBRE RISE values and drive process improvements
