Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Test Engineer III for the Lunar Permanence Integration and Test team in Space Coast, FL. You will develop test plans for vehicle fluid and thermal systems, lead daily test operations, and coordinate with engineers and technicians to verify requirements.

Responsibilities include designing test setups, procuring equipment, and troubleshooting during testing while maintaining safety and documentation standards. Travel up to 25% during surge periods.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of fluids, pneumatic, or cryogenic or similar experience.
• Understanding of P&ID’s, pressure systems, and associated GSE.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Experience working collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures for vehicle fluid and thermal systems and test beds.
• Lead daily test operations, test consoles, and coordinate with technicians and customers.
• Plan tests with design and systems engineers to verify requirements.
• Design, procure, and install test support equipment; manage vendors/subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot issues during testing and analyze/ archive test data.
