Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Test Engineer for the MK1 Integration and Test team in Florida. The role supports planning, execution, and interpretation of tests for Lunar Vehicle systems, with a focus on fluids, thermals, and cryogenic components.

You will design test plans, lead operations, coordinate with vendors, and ensure data quality while upholding safety and industry standards. This is a hands-on position with travel and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of applicable fluids, pneumatic, or cryogenic experience.
• Understanding of P&ID's, pressure systems, and associated GSE.
• Understand the Test Like You Fly assessment and exception process.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Experience and drive to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures for vehicle level development and qualification testing.
• Lead daily test operations, operate test consoles, direct technician work, and coordinate with internal and external customers.
• Plan tests of vehicle fluid and thermal systems to verify requirements.
• Design, procure, and install test support equipment; manage vendors and subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during testing; reduce and archive test data.
• Perform root cause, system hazard analysis and failure investigations as necessary.
• Coordinate test crews, support equipment and vehicle configurations for testing.
• Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations.
