Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Fluid Systems Engineer to develop and oversee the technical implementation of fluid system design and plant support. The role reports to the Manager of Systems Engineering & Special Programs and is based in Cranberry Township, PA with a hybrid schedule typically on site 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear engineering.
• 5+ years of applicable engineering experience.
• Experience with MathCad or MATLAB or VBA.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks that are assigned or innovated.
• Plan and implement complex training programs to develop business in plant programs.
• Work with fellow engineering personnel to set objective and breakdown/resolve multiple design, analysis, and program efforts.
• Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate technical lead and management.
• Participate in customer, vendor, and regulator meetings to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs.
• Make data-based decisions, work independently, and communicate with plant management, WEC staff, and other stakeholders.
• Promote a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) and Westinghouse's strong Nuclear Safety Culture.
